Fun fact: I name my various electronics one of the hobo names from John Hodgman’s The Areas of my Expertise. My iPhone is “Thad Malfeasance” and my new netbook is “Pallando” (which turned out to be an excellent, albeit unintended, Lord of the Rings reference).
