satirically-yours:

30 Days: Day 14 — A non-fictional book
It’s fictional pretending to be nonfictional. Which is pretty freaking awesome.
In reality, I almost dislike nonfiction. I prefer fantasy worlds and fictional characters that capture your heart and mind. Plots that twist and symbolism to dance around my mind. I just find fiction more compelling.
I also find Hodgman more compelling than nonfiction. His wit is straight-faced, satirical, absurd. I just love his humor and dry wit. Love it. So hats off to you, Hodgman, another successful guy named John who delivers the fiction-in-the-guise-of-nonfiction in a way that we tilt our heads and wonder if you’re really kidding.
